I chose My Dad’s A Factory Worker And He Works All Day as the film I liked most when I was looking at your online cinema. The reason I really liked this little film is because the person who made it chose to go for style over substance, and while there isn’t much of a story going on, unlike many of the others, it still manages to draw you in and leaves you hooked until the very last second of the film plays out, and the fact that I liked how nearly every shot except for two are static shots.

BA (Hons) Filmmaking course
Sadly, I missed the open days so I can't put much about that. But I was attracted to the filmmaking course because it is exactly what I would love to do to take my filmmaking knowledge and skills to the next level, and I feel like I could benefit a lot from doing this course.
Shooting the Scene: Fast & Furious 4

At college we were given a challenge for the day. We had to pick a scene from any movie we wanted and recreate it using the same angles and edit it together to resemble the scene from the actual movie as closely as we possibly could. The group I was part of chose a scene from Fast & Furious (number 4) with Brian and Mia in a café having a chat about each other. Within the group my role was directing the piece, in charge of the camera’s and also being a co-editor with another member of our group in the post-production stages.
Apology
Due to internet problems at home and having work missing at college from the start of the year, getting the 'Armed & Dumb' piece of work and uploading it to Youtube took a lot longer than first thought. I hope this doesn't course any problems with my application.

This short film was a group project that I did the camera work for, directed it and co-edited by me and another member of the class. The idea behind it was to create a 2 or 3-minute film or a scene of a film that we thought of from start to finish. The film is set in the aftermath or a robbery and it follows two of the robbers as they were in the in the getaway process when something goes horribly wrong when one of them shoots and kills one of them.
Short Horror Scene - College

The short above is a little short horror film I did as part of a unit to do with genre. The task was to plan and produce a little 2-minute film that uses the conventions of the certain genre that we were given. The film follows a young girl on her way home after college while being stalked and eventually gets murdered by an ex college student due to something that happened to them a while back. It was produced in a group but my role was director, writer, cameraman and co-editor during the production of the film.
